Amazing Stories Exist in Many Places. Would you Like to Share Your Story?

You may have seen this touching video from CNN giving a ‘Heroes Tribute’ to Derreck Kayongo in 2012. Mr. Kayongo started The Global Soap Project to help fight disease in Africa from recycled soap that was reclaimed from hotels in the US. It’s an amazing story from a refugee who saw a way to help save lives with the excess that exists elsewhere. View the video here:

Maybe you are not a refugee or not trying to save lives, but you have a story worth sharing at The Lesbian Conference. You can be a writer, lecturer, blogger or spoken word storyteller and your words can impact lives. You may have started a small movement that is inspiring others to join in and make change. Or you could be an educator, therapist or teacher who has knowledge and expertise in an area that you would like to share with others. The range of topics discussed at The Lesbian Conference will be wide, so don’t let a narrow theme stop you from considering taking part.

If there is a story that you would like to share with a large audience of lesbians, feel free to submit a speaker application online today

We’d love to hear from you and appreciate your courage to share your story and inspire, motive and get others thinking.

Thanks,

The Lesbian Conference Team
